HAVE WE LEFT YOU CONFUSED?

HOW DO I ACCESS COUNSELLING?

You can access counselling or emergency services by going to the 'Request Counselling' page and filling in the referral form, or by telephoning our head office. Our staff are happy to talk you through your options and complete a triage assessment with you, if required.

STAFF ARE BASED ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH COUNSELLORS TO COVER THIS?

We have 1600 counsellors throughout the UK. We also have counsellors abroad too. No matter where you are based, we have the capability and facilities to cover everyone.

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS OF YOUR COUNSELLORS?

90% of the RJ8 counsellors are BACP accredited, the highest qualification of counsellor in the UK. All other counsellors are BACP registered and working towards accreditation. They are the exact same counsellors you would see through NHS routes, and often have advanced qualifications too.

IS IT JUST COUNSELLING I GET?

No. Each member of staff is given counselling or therapy services when they need it, but you get lots more too. They will have 24 hour access to emergency helplines for mental health requirements, legal services, debt advice, family advice and management advice too.

CAN SOMEONE ELSE MAKE A REFERRAL FOR ME?

Anyone can discuss the options open for you with us. Management can also make a direct referral. We will still have to complete an assessment to understand your requirements, and this must be done with you. No one can complete the assessment on your behalf. This can be done online, or with one of our dedicated team.

WHAT TYPE OF THERAPY IS AVAILABLE?

The main therapy on offer is face to face, person centered or CBT counselling. This can also be done via video call or over the telephone

I AM GOING THROUGH A DIVORCE, CAN YOUR LEGAL LINE HANDLE IT FOR ME?

Our legal support is on hand to guide you through the process and support you. We are unable to handle full cases and see them from beginning to completion. RJ8 is happy to make recommendations to our trusted partners if this is something you require.

I AM IN A LOT OF DEBT, AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

Give our helpline a call. We have experts ready to help manage your debts and put you in contact with the appropriate people with a whole solution. If you're seeking financial advice, mortgages, insurance or pension work. Drop us a line, we have a team of independent advisors ready to help.

WHERE ARE YOUR CALLS ANSWERED?

All of our calls are answered in the UK, and the majority of those are answered in our Manchester head offices.

Before you can access any RJ8 service, we need to know who you are. You can do this by activating your policy here.

I NEED COUNSELLING

Your employer has provided you with all year round counselling. If you're struggling and need support now, fill in our referral form to start the process.

I NEED EMERGENCY ADVICE

Our dedicated call centre in Manchester are on hand to answer all emergency questions, 24 hours a day.
